Calling Sunny Side Up a #DreamSunscreen is a big claim, and we’re standing behind it. People know the importance of SPF, but few enjoy using it and don’t reapply it through the day.
We decided to reinvent sunscreen, and found the perfect UV filters in the Swiss Buddleja flowers. Growing in high altitudes, it has adapted to survive high solar radiation and developed an ability to protect against harmful UV rays.

Does Sunny Side Up (SPF 30) offer less protection than an SPF 50 sunscreen?
While no sunscreen can block all UV rays, Sunny Side Up is a broad spectrum sunscreen mist that offers protection against 97% of UVA and UVB rays as well as blue light. In fact, a similar SPF50 sunscreen would add only 1-2% more protection than a SPF30 sunscreen. For daily urban wear, SPF30 provides effective all-day broad spectrum protection.
Like any sunscreen, regular reapplication is essential to getting the most out of your sunscreen, and we recommend that Sunny Side Up be reapplied every three hours for the best results.

Do I still need a sunscreen if my cosmetic products contain SPF?
Yes you do – to keep it light and less opaque, SPF values in most cosmetic products are much lower, and hence insufficient for adequate sun protection. Additionally, SPF absorption tends to be lower when it comes to cosmetic products containing SPF, which suggests that it is less effective than using an actual sunscreen.

For pregnant and breastfeeding women, we recommend using a mineral sunscreen only and avoid all chemical sunscreens.

I have sensitive skin, is Sunny Side Up suitable for me?
Yes! Sunny Side Up contains the antioxidant Vitamin E, which hydrates and repairs skin damage. Additionally, Sunny Side Up contains Swiss Buddleja flower extracts that contain antibacterial properties that help to soothe sensitive skin.

Can I wear Sunny Side Up at a beach?
Sunny Side Up is a chemical sunscreen made with clean ingredients, however, we always recommend using a mineral sunscreen with higher sun protection factor when you are at the beach or diving in the ocean and avoid using any chemical sunscreen.
